DESCRIPTION:Please join us on Saturday afternoon\, April 25th\, from 2-4pm to work\non writing exercises from the Andrea Stolpe book\, “Popular Lyric\nWriting: Ten Steps To Effective Storytelling.” We will be following\nthe ten steps outlined in the book to write a full song lyric. If you\nwant to connect with other songwriters in person and have some writing\npractice\, then this workshop is for you. Hosted by Rachel Dunlap.\nBring whatever you use to write with\, and a device with internet\ncapabilities and/or a rhyming dictionary would be helpful. \nSummer workshop schedule coming soon! \n*Location* this workshop will be held at the Roseville Library in the\nboard room on the 2nd floor\, NW corner. Members of another local\nsongwriting group\, M.A.S. (MN Association of Songwriters) will also be\ninvited. \nRachel Dunlap is an MACS member\, drummer and songwriter. She plays the\ndrums locally with the band Smooth Sensations and her solo music can\nbe found on SoundCloud under the name Dunrap. Rachel holds a Bachelor\nof Arts degree in English from the University of Minnesota.
