Love Is A Mystery
by Paul Nye
He gets up every morning, shaves and washes his face
The lines tell a story of dignity and grace.
Walks to the bus stop, for a long ride
To see his love, full of life & wide-eyed
You see love, is a mystery
It may drift on open seas, with no wind in its sail
Yes, love, is a mystery
But true love will never fail.
He walks down a hallway to a room glowing white
Slowly opens a door to beauty and light
Though her mind does not remember the love of her life
He sits quietly, touching the hand of his wife.
Because love, is a mystery
It may drift on open seas, with no wind in its sail
Yes, love, is a mystery
But true love will never fail
They mapped out their course with pure innocence
And set sail towards the sun off in the distance
They rode out the waves of conflict with love
Navigating to the end always sure of…
Love, is a mystery
It may drift on open seas, with no wind in its sail
Yes, love, is a mystery
But true love will never fail ………
